I offer a range of compassionate services designed to support individuals and families through the delicate process of end-of-life planning and care. Following a consultation, families can determine how I can best assist them in their journey.
End-Of-Life Planning
Guidance for individuals and families in creating thoughtful and comprehensive end-of-life care plans. When time permits, this alone can add a layer of relief knowing final wishes are in writing and will be honored.
Creating a Support Team
Assistance in assembling a compassionate network of caregivers, medical professionals, and loved ones for continuous support. Sometimes simply having help managing schedules and appointments will free up time to focus solely on their loved ones and self-care.
Legacy Project Creation
Facilitation of meaningful projects that preserve personal stories, values, and memories. Working with both audio and visual mediums, you will be able to keep a piece of your loved one long after they have passed to revisit their stories, hear their voice, or see their smile.
General Research
Exploration of topics on behalf of the dying and their family. This might include holistic and organic burial methods, alternative therapies for comfort care + pain management, and exploring wellness modalities. Some of these include massage therapy, meditation, breath-work, and nature. The goal being to discover ways to make sure final days are spent dying well with dignity, peace and pain-free.
Virtual and In-Person Event Planning and Death Cafes
Organization of supportive spaces for open discussions about death, fostering community and understanding. These can be exclusively for friends and family. However some find that it may be easier to have these conversations with strangers who are going through similar experiences. The incorporation of joy, humor, and laughing together with others who relate to the experience is a unique option for those desiring the outlet.
Facilitating Conversations With Fearful Family Members
Death and Dying can be a very uncomfortable conversation to start. Especially with those closest to you. This service is especially for those with sick or aging loved ones who are avoidant or resistant to have the conversations. To empower both parties, starting this conversation long before it’s time will create immeasurable relief and one less thing to worry about when it’s time to make decisions. It’s never too early to have a plan in place.
You can decide where I best fit into your process, whether it’s coordinating a support team, facilitating meaningful legacy projects, or organizing events for open discussions about death and grief. My empathetic approach and dedication to holistic well-being ensures that families receive the personalized support they need during this profound time of transition.
